The Circolo Surf Torbole was born in 1978 as a Italian Federal Club when the Surfing Team of the Historic Circolo Vela Torbole decides to give birth to a reality totally devoted to this emerging sport. The town of Torbole believes and invests in this discipline, making available to the nascent Circle the old school building of Colonia Pavese.
Here, with years of work and passion, the Circolo Surf Torbole grows and evolves together with the sport of the Windsurf, becoming one of the largest and most established circles tied exclusively to this discipline. Today the Circle has about 350 members.
For years the Club has national, European and world-wide sporting events belonging to all windsurfing classes, including the pre-Olympic and the Olympic disciplines.
The newspaper “LA STAMPA” has placed the Circolo Surf Torbole and the spot of Garda Trentino, third in the world after Maui and Fuerteventura for the importance of the races.
From the Circolo Surf Torbole has passed, and still passes, the history of this sport, the study and the development of materials and equipment. Numerous world-class champions are born in it and today its competitive team boasts outstanding names in all windsurfing classes.
The Circolo Surf Torbole can be considered to be the most competitive sporting, sporting and technological laboratory in the sport.
